Summer was still under quarantine so we didn't do a lot of activities that other summers may have contained.
We went hiking each weekend (although the kids only went once each). The hikes were 2-6 miles, elevation gain up to 500 feet, shaded, and within an hour of home. The hikes were absolutely beautiful and I really enjoyed doing them - even though we did them really early in the morning.
We (not Em) also did Bike Nights - 10 miles every Monday through the summer.
We did "school"
Tom - He completed his High School Health class and worked on editing his novel. He went paddleboarding and bike-riding weekly.
Em - Em finished the first half of both her Beast Academy math and her Logic of English courses. She continued her horse riding lessons and her Girls Fun class. We had 2 weekly, masked, playdates.
